  • Pre-Pitch Information & Accompanied Client Visits

Pre-pitch information can be provided if you are attending a meeting with a new or existing client either relating to the company and the role you are pitching for or the general market sector.  If you feel it would strengthen your pitch or if you would simply like to introduce your Researcher to your clients, we would be happy to attend your meetings.

  • Advertising Response

Steph’s background is in generalist consultancy and therefore has experience of Executive Selection.  We have taken in Advertising response and managed the administration, initial telephone conversations and paper short-listing. 

  • Market Research, Competitor Profiling & Marketing

We have undertaken research projects which have varied from a simple summary of the company size, products etc through to in-depth studies of companies through interviewing their staff and other investigative techniques.  In addition, assistance can be provided with identifying both companies and decision makers that can be utilised for your own marketing purposes.

Information can be sourced which will provide up to date details on salary levels either within a particular industry or job role.

  • Board Level Succession Planning

Where companies have outlined their key roles in a company, it is increasingly common for them to identify a handful of internal candidates who could step up into those roles should they become vacant.  It is also possible to also identify a small pool of candidates that could provide them with an external source which they could tap into immediately should a key role need filling.

  • Internal Company Research

Often one of the critical issues within a company is their own employees’ thoughts on their employer’s attitudes, processes, change programmes etc which can lead to motivational and retention problems.  It is often difficult to gain a true assessment of your employees’ thoughts and therefore an external review can be undertaken with the objective of relaying the overriding issues rather than specific individual’s feedback, to protect individual identities.

  • Exit Interviews & Rehires

CRL has conducted in-depth exit interviews on behalf of our clients.  The view is that individuals are likely to be more open with an external Consultant than with an internal employee.  In addition, individuals often think that the ‘grass is greener’ and leave a company only to find this is not the case, we have delivered programmes to re-contact ex-employees with a view to ascertaining whether they would be interested in rejoining their former employers.  Even if the candidate decides not to go back, this conversation regularly provides very useful feedback as they tend to be more open a few months down the line, having already left and established a secure position with a new company.

  • Outplacement

Where a solid relationship is built with a placed candidate or individual client, assistance can be provided to them with identifying new career opportunities.  A ‘Target List’ of companies, together with the HR contact or other decision maker, can be established in companies that could be potential employers.

  • Any Other Research

CRL can best be viewed as a ‘brain with a telephone and a PC’.  With an inquisitive mind and the technology to support this, we are able to provide research on almost anything and therefore, we are happy to discuss any ad hoc projects.
